Becoming an attorney “was always a dream for me,” says Katie Fuller, who worked as a paralegal at our firm before investing in law school – and she continued working here throughout her education. “I love to help people, and I love the unique motorcycle-focused practice that we have built. You can be yourself, there are no pretentions or egos. We love what we do and we do our jobs well.”
Katie has been instrumental in creating Motorcycle Law Group’s South Carolina practice, forging relationships throughout the state’s motorcyclist community as our team has built a practice that has grown primarily from word of mouth and a trusted reputation. “It is important for us to get to know the people in our community before they become our clients – for what is hopefully the first and only time in their lives.”
Katie grew up in Brookville, Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!). After graduating from Duquesne in 2010, she moved to Columbia, where she became a paralegal at our firm, began law school in 2012, and entered practice in 2015. She and Chad welcomed their daughter, Christabel, into the world in 2016 and are expecting another little girl early 2019.

Growing up, Katie often rode as a passenger and enjoyed it, but took to the handlebars after starting with the Motorcycle Law Group in 2010. She owns a 1966 Triumph Tiger and a 2015 Harley Davidson Street 750.
“I enjoy the freedom and independence of riding – the quiet of it all,” she says. She also loves the community aspect, meeting riders throughout the Palmetto State and across the nation. “It’s fun to ride together even if we don’t have a destination,” she says.
Katie is licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
